SJC Flight Tracking
  • Acoustical Treatment Program (ACT):
The ACT Program has helped the Airport achieve its critical goal of being a good neighbor in the community by improving the living conditions of people residing in eligible areas near the Airport through significantly reducing aircraft-related noise in their homes and schools to meet Federal and State noise standards.

  • Noise Monitoring Center: The Aircraft Noise Monitoring Center monitor's the aircraft noise impacts on the surrounding communities. The center maintains a database that records both aircraft operations and noise inquiries.

  • Airport Noise Advisory Committee (ANAC):
A public forum where the noise concerns of the community are acknowledged and responded to in a manner that balances concerns regarding airport growth and development.

  • Curfew Monitoring:
The noise-based curfew went into effect on October 21, 2003, following approval by the San José City Council.

Guadalupe Gardens
The Guadalupe Gardens Master Plan approved by the City and FAA in 2002 is an open space land use plan for the Airport Approach Zone (immediately south of the Airport) intended to improve the appearance of the vacant land and provide for low density public utilization.
